Are you looking to become a sponsor of the Austin Metropolitan Area Regional Science and Engineering Fair? This is one of the largest regional science fairs in Texas, with nearly 3,000 students from third to twelfth grade. It encourages and rewards innovative student research and gives scientists, engineers, and other professionals the opportunity to volunteer in the community. Sponsoring this event is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to the students and their projects while also receiving recognition for your company. As a sponsor, you will be acknowledged at the main entrance of the fair and in the auditorium of the award ceremony.
Your name and logo will be displayed on banners throughout the event. Austin Energy has been a sponsor of Science Fest for more than two decades and became its main sponsor in 2003. The Austin Science Education Foundation (ASEF) promotes students' knowledge and participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, preparing them and teachers for the Austin Metropolitan Area Regional Science and Engineering Fair, organizing the fair and supporting students selected to move on to subsequent competitions. During the fair, more than 350 judges will be needed for more than 20 categories of engineering, life sciences and physical sciences. Businesses, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations can also be exhibitors at TXSEF. The Austin Metropolitan Area Regional Science and Engineering Fair serves public, charter, private and domestic school students from these Central Texas counties whose projects won at their schools' science fairs: Bastrop, Brazos, Burleson, Caldwell, Comanche, Fayette, Lee, Mills, Travis, Washington, Williamson and North Hays Counties.
It is the only regional science fair in Texas that includes contests for elementary students as a way to encourage early interest in science and is one of the largest of the 14 science fairs in Texas. The 2024 Texas Science and Engineering Fair (TXSEF) will be held March 22-23, 2024 in College Station, Texas, at the Texas A&M University Student Recreation Center.
