Arthur Ryan’s maker interests focus on reducing the cost of entry into robot development and related robot technology for educators, hobbyists and inventors. His interest in robots started in engineering school and he has been designing hardware and software systems in several related fields including semiconductor design, software development, automated systems and specialized instrumentation.
Arthur has over 25 years of industry experience including technical lead positions at Advanced Micro Devices, National Instruments and several Austin area start ups. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
